For the next installment of the A-ZX series and representing the letter “W”, adidas teams up with Sean Wotherspoon on the ZX 8000 “Super Earth” to deliver the Round Two founder’s eye catching interpretation of the classic running shoe.
The sneaker arrives with a patchwork-like mix of different textiles that make up the composition of the upper, ranging from pastel to rustic canvas. The sneaker’s medial side is sprinkled with multicolour embroidered Trefoils, whilst the other side features embroidered florals and cascading runoff threads. Supporting accents include a neon green that animates the laces, profile 3-Stripes branding and “SW” branding on the spine. “SUPEREARTH” logos land on the pattern-covered tongue, nodding to the sneaker’s animal-free construction.
