Air Jordan 1 “Bio Hack”

by teamgoodlife.

In 2005, Nike teamed up with Los Angeles’ based UNDFTD for a crazy Dunk High “NL” (No Liner) collaboration. The release dropped in the midst of the Dunk Low’s golden years, and the vibrant colours and premium materials used perfectly encapsulated collaborations of the era – yet stood alone as an audacious piece. That Nike Tier 0 release was limited to just 5,000 pairs worldwide and still remains to this day a grail for many.

Nike is now bringing the “Bio Hack” colourway which resembles the UNDFTD x Nike Dunk High palette on the timeless Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG. Flaunting a Baroque Brown, Black, Laser Orange, and Racer Pink colour scheme, this new AJ1 rendition arrives in a mostly suede construction. The release features a two-tone blue leather toebox along with black and brown hues on the medial and heel section. The sneaker opts for pink on the inner lining, orange on the tongue, a white Swoosh along with a “Nike Air” patch is haphazardly stitched onto the tongue of the AJ1 for DIY-inspired aesthetic that’s all the rage these days. Rounding up the design is a mint green midsole and black outsole.
