NYC-based contemporary artist Daniel Arsham turns his attention towards the ‘future’ with the third and final release in his adidas Originals collaboration.
Exploring the concept of art and chaos, the final drop in the series showcases both adidas Originals and Arsham’s relentless passion for merging innovation with creativity.
Always taking his audience on a journey of discovery and exploration, Daniel Arsham unleashes his sculptural side with the development of a new dimension “4D” printed sole. The lattice-like network uses Digital Light Synthesis technology to form a comfortable, cushioned midsole based on years of athletic data and research. With an unexpected “Aero Green” full Primeknit upper with the Three Stripes branding stripped away, there’s also a hidden twist with the shoe revealing the word ‘FUTURE’ when exposed to UV light .
Having been represented by galleries all around the world, including MoMA PS1 in New York, Museum of Contemporary Art in Miami and Carré d’Art de Nîmes in France, it’s no wonder Daniel Arsham’s collaboration with adidas Originals is not only highly anticipated, but also seriously limited.
IN-STORE RAFFLE GUIDELINES
The Daniel Arsham New York Future will be available at The Good Life on 12th October with the following release guidelines:
This release comes in extremely limited quantities, and therefore we will hold an in-store raffle. This raffle comes with an added twist that favours the Daniel Arsham collectors and gives a chance to those who want to own all three pairs (past, present, and future).
Participants who own the previous adidas Originals x Daniel Arsham releases, will receive a multiplier upon sign-up increasing their chances of winning:
Note: New York Past (CM7193) & New York Present (DB1971)
*In order to benefit from the multipliers, we would require you to leave your pairs at The Good Life store upon registration - Don't worry we have a mechanism to ensure they're safely held and they will be handed back to you on release day! This also ensures that multiple entries for the same pairs are avoided and gives the collectors out there the strongest chance of getting their hands on this incredibly exclusive release.
