In March 2017, in celebration of Air Max Day, Nike selected 12 of the world's most influential creatives, "RevolutionAirs", to re-imagine the new Air Max. No rules. One winner. One completely new Air Max. Each RevolutionAir has in turn co-created a design that expresses their world through Air Max.
Alexandra Hackett (London), Artemy Lebedev (Moscow), Bunyamin Aydin (Istanbul), Celement Balvoine (Amsterdam), Fabikr (Seoul), Kyle Ng (Los Angeles), Lourdes Villagómez (Mexico City), Naotaka Konno (Tokyo), Sean Wotherspoon (Los Angeles), Shangguan Zhe (Shanghai), Chen Tianzhuo (Beijing), and Venus X (New York), submitted incredibly imaginative designs and all deserve props for their ingenuity.
But after a public vote, Sean Wotherspoon’s Air Max 97 x Air Max 1 hybrid, which feature a corduroy finish inspired by vintage Nike hats from the ‘80s took the top spot.
And now, after a year long wait, they are finally here.
The Good Life release details to follow.
